I would like to nominate Sharon Sheffield for her excellent customer service both in person and on the phone. She maintains her calm in some very stressful situations. Recently a student called about a very large balance due on her account. The student had applied for Financial Aid and dropped classes after official day. She bore the consequence of repayment for her choice. She was quite upset and used terrible language, hanging up on Sharon two times. It would have been easy to let the phone ring the third time but Sharon took the call and all that it entailed. She then followed up with Financial Aid so they could call the student and explain the reason for repayment of funds.

Keeping her composure throughout the day is what Sharon does everyday for Lone Star College-Kingwood. She is very deserving of the Fish award.
