Institutional Effectiveness

Welcome to the Office of Research & Institutional Effectiveness

The Office of Research & Institutional Effectiveness (ORIE) provides research support to the system’s decision makers, enhancing policy-making processes. We serve as the primary information clearinghouse for the Lone Star College System and conduct research on student, faculty, and staff to promote on-going institutional self-assessment. ORIE also fulfills the system’s compliance reporting requirements at both the federal and state levels.

ORIE also supports the Lone Star College System Achieving the Dream initiatives by providing all data, research and support services to the system and the campuses.
