Designs in Print

Designs in Print is a graphic design studio providing college-related publication services for Lone Star College-Kingwood faculty, staff and organizations. It is an internship program staffed by an advisor and upper-level digital publishing/graphic design students working one semester each as interns.

Designs in Print is a win–win situation for both Lone Star College-Kingwood and for students. Groups at the college receive documents that effectively communicate their message, while the interns gain bankable real-world work experience. This internship program started Spring semester of 1995, so about 80 students have contributed to the projects in our portfolio and gallery.

Design work created by Designs in Print interns includes promotions for Fine Arts productions and events and Community Education course schedules, as well as posters, fliers, brochures, booklets, and newspaper ads for many of the academic programs, events, and student services at Lone Star College-Kingwood.
