Instructor Facilitated Online Courses - Ed2Go

Update your skills, discover a new talent, or chart a new career path at your own pace in the comfort of your own home or office. Online courses make it easy to begin now to achieve your goals. All courses run for six weeks (with a two-week grace period at the end). Courses are project-oriented and include lessons, quizzes, hands-on assignments, discussion areas, supplementary links, and more.

Requirements: The following 6-week on-line classes require Internet access, email and the Microsoft Internet Explorer web browser. In addition, some classes may require Windows, Excel or other software programs as indicated in the course description. Before registering for any course, go to our Online Instruction Center and read the complete course requirements for that course.

How to get started:

• Visit our Online Instruction Center at: http://www.ed2go.com/kingwoodce/
• Click the Orientation link and follow the instructions to enroll and pay for your course. During orientation, you will learn important information about your course. You will also be provided an opportunity to choose the name and password you will use to access your course. This step is critical! You cannot access your course until you complete orientation. After completing the required orientation, your name will be added to the class roster. The Online Course Coordinator then verifies the roster which “unlocks” the class to give you access to your course lessons.
• When your course starts, return to our Online Instruction Center and click the Classroom link. To begin your studies, simply log in with the name and password you provided during orientation.

Course delivery information:

A new session starts on the third Wednesday of each month; except for the November and December sessions (we move the start date back to accommodate for the holidays). Classroom access is activated at 2:01am on that session's start date. Lessons are released on Wednesdays and Fridays at 2:01am.
