Early Registration is Encouraged
Register early to ensure a place in the class of your choice, and to prevent the cancellation of a class with light enrollment. When a class is filled, a waiting list is available.
Payment is due at the time of registration. There is a $25 returned check fee.
Students may register for Continuing Education (CE) classes by any of the following methods:
- Mail: Tuition and fee payment is due at the time of registration and must accompany registration form.
- Telephone: You may register by telephone at the following numbers:

Academy for Lifelong Learning at EMCID Center – 281.312.1750 - Fax: You may fax your registration form to the Lone Star College-Kingwood Continuing Education Office at 281.312.1612. Include your credit card number, expiration date, security code and signature. Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- In Person: Register in person at the college in the Continuing Education Office in CLA 107, in the Student Fine Arts Building room SFA 115, or at the EMCID Center during registration hours.
- Internet: Most Continuing Education Courses are available through online registration. Go to kingwood.lonestar.edu/ce and click “Register for Courses” Returning students are given the option of signing in and new student will enter the required personal information, creating an Lone Star College System student record. Payment must be made by credit card on this secure site. An email notification of successful course registration will be sent. Students previously registered at any Lone Star College System college may expedite registration by logging onto Stargazer and clicking on the link “Register and Pay for Continuing Education Courses”
Refund Policy: a 100% refund is provided if a "drop/add" form is completed and submitted to the Continuing Education registration office (CLA 107) before a course begins. No refund is provided after the course begins.
