The role of the Faculty Senate is to ensure faculty have a voice in the development of policies and procedures that are defined by the principles of shared decision making. By participating in the Senate, faculty members have both the opportunity and responsibility to provide input, to ask questions, and to pose possible solutions to issues of interest and concern in order to achieve a common vision for their division and the Lone Star College System.

Regular meetings are scheduled the first Tuesday of the month during the academic year in SFA 125/126. The Senate convenes at 12.30 and all full time and adjunct faculty are encouraged to attend.
