"When my daughter Mandy died, a friend suggested planting a tree at Lone Star College-Kingwood in her memory. A mature tree with an inscribed plaque was placed near the Student Center. To have a place to go and see a tree growing in her memory is a whole different feeling. I actually go to the "tree" more than I do the cemetery. I encourage anyone to do this very special memorial tribute for their loved one."
