Computer Information Technology
The computer information technology department offers educational programs designed to provide students with current technological skills needed for the workplace. Working closely with local business and community leaders, several certificates and degrees have been developed for many workforce needs. Career training includes degrees and certificates in the areas of computer programming, A+ certification, PC helpdesk and support, computer networking (Microsoft), and the department's newest certificate in Game Development and Design.
The Computer Information Technology Co-op program is designed to give our students industry experience within their area of study via the Computer and Information Sciences course (ITSC 2380). This course, under the supervision of the college and the employer, provides the student career-related activities within the student's area of specialization; incorporating classroom learning with work experience.
