Catch of the Month - June 2005
Dena Meshell -- leading the team!
I would like to nominate Dena Meshell from the Arts and Humanities Division. Recently I was out of the office for two weeks on a study tour. Before I left I asked that Dena handle many of the jobs I do on a daily basis. Dena jumped right in.
Upon my return I found the daily tasks I normally do were done to perfection. Everyone, both inside and outside of our Division, really enjoyed working with Dena.
Not only did she do her own daily work, but she played a strategic role in keeping our Division running smoothly during my absence. She really went out for our team.
I knew when I asked Dena to back me up during my leave that I would have nothing to worry about.
It is nice to know I was 100% right. It is nice being right.
Kudos to Dena for once again being an outstanding Lone Star College System employee.
