Success seminars help students improve study skills and provide strategies for success in college courses. Seminars are held in the Learning Center located in SFA200. All seminars are free, and some instructors give extra credit for attendance. For the summer semesters, students may request an individual or a small group seminar during a scheduled thirty minute tutoring appointment. Regularly scheduled seminars will resume in September.
Grammar review sessions are offered every Tuesday and Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. beginning on September 12th. These sessions are designed to help students in English 1301 to rpepare for the Grammar Proficiency Exam and to enable students in ESL, DS, and otehr courses to improve their grammar skills.
Dollars and Sense Seminars address creating financial stability both as a student and into the future. Seminars will be held each Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. beginning September 13.
