Fall 2008 Results
The Lone Star College-CyFair Tennis Team won all 3 dual matches for the fall of 2008. We started off the semester with an impressive 19 match to 14 match win ove a tough squad from Rice University. We won our next 2 dual matches against the University of Houston and LSC-Kingwood/Montgomery. Please look for our schedule and come support our team!
Spring 2008 Results
Congratulations to the Lone Star College-CyFair Tennis Team for their impressive performance at the USTA Tennis on Campus State Championship in College Station. The team had wins over club squads from the University of St. Thomas, UTSA, West Texas A&M University, University of Texas and Texas A&M University. The team ran into some stiff competition against Baylor and suffered a narrow loss to Texas Tech University in the finals of consolation in the Gold Division. Lone Star College-CyFair was one of the few community colleges competing in a field of over 60 teams from 20 different colleges and universities.

Cy-Fair College Club Tennis Team Nearly Upsets Texas A&M University Club Team at Regional USTA Tennis on Campus Tournament!
Texas A&M University, 3-time defending national champion, was nearly upset by the Lone Star College–CyFair Club Team this past Saturday . Lone Star College–CyFair was within one point of upsetting Texas A&M before Texas A&M mounted a comeback in mixed doubles.Jamie O’Leary finished the day undefeated in women’s singles with wins over club teams from Texas A&M University, the University of Texas and SMU. Jamie and Tania Chua also defeated the doubles team from Texas A&M University. After 2 tough losses to A&M and UT, Lone Star College–CyFair soundly defeated SMU and the second team from UT.
