Lisa Bryant, Professor of Speech and Honors Program faculty member, recently received a Faculty Excellence Award for her commitment to the education of students at Lone Star College-Kingwood. Considering Professor Bryant has only recently returned from maternity leave, the award acknowledges that the faculty recognizes the exceptional talent Professor Bryant has as an educator.
Professor Bryant teaches SPCH 1311 and SPCH 1315, both of which are offered as Honors courses. She has been at Kingwood for five years, and prior to teaching at our college, Professor Bryant taught at San Jacinto College’s central campus and the University of Houston’s Downtown campus. When she is away from campus, she enjoys spending time with her 18-month old daugher and husband.
